Red Beard Remodels serves Fort Worth, Texas and surrounding cities within roughly 30 miles, including Benbrook, Westworth Village, Aledo, Willow Park, Weatherford, Burleson, Granbury, Arlington, Azle, Keller, Colleyville, Southlake, Westlake and Trophy Club. What kinds of remodeling do you do?
Kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling (including showers, tubs, tile and vanities), whole-home renovations, flooring installation and hardwood refinishing, finish carpentry, trim and millwork, custom built-ins and cabinetry, drywall repair and finishing, and interior painting. Plumbing and electrical work is completed by licensed trade partners and coordinated by us.
Are you licensed and insured?
Texas does not require a state license for general remodeling contractors. Red Beard Remodels carries general liability insurance with $1,000,000 per-occurrence coverage, and a certificate is available on request. Plumbing and electrical work on our projects is completed by licensed trade partners who hold their own state licenses.
What warranty do you offer?
All work performed with materials we supply is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty that covers repairs, replacements and paint touch-ups. The warranty does not cover work done with customer-supplied materials or fixtures and accessories we did not purchase.
How much does a remodel cost?
Every project is different. The cost depends on the size of the space, the scope of work and the materials you choose, which can range from basic repairs to high-end custom finishes. That is why we don't publish price lists. After seeing your space, John gives you a clear written estimate based on your actual project.
How long will my remodel take?
It depends on the scope, the materials and how quickly design decisions are made. Before any work begins, John walks you through a realistic schedule and then coordinates every trade so each phase flows into the next.
Will I work directly with the owner?
Yes. John Dotson handles your estimate, answers your calls and texts, and is on the jobsite throughout your project. There are no salespeople and no hand-offs.
Will I be able to see what was done behind the walls?
Yes. John photographs every phase of your project, including plumbing, electrical and framing before walls and floors are closed up, and gives you those photos when the job is complete.
Can I supply my own materials?
Talk with John about it during your estimate. Keep in mind that work done with customer-supplied materials is not covered by our one-year workmanship warranty.
